Campus Ministry conducts its 9th Gospel Concert

Far Eastern University Campus Ministry (FEU-CM) moderated its annual Gospel Concert last February 26 inside the FEU Chapel.

The Gospel Concert is where student volunteers of FEU-CM and guest performers showcase their talents. This year’s concert theme is “Merciful like the Father”.

“The purpose of the Gospel Concert is to encourage more students to join the mass, to join the activities of the campus ministry, at the same time to encourage young students to serve,” Romeo Cabrito, one of the proponent of the activity said.

Aside from student volunteers, Genesis Bryan Reyes, one of the 2012 MusiKabataan of the Music Museum group scholars at the Music School of Ryan Cayabyab, FEU Makati Music Ministry, and IAS Sessionistas also performed in the concert.

Before proceeding to the program proper, Pauline Pesa and Genesis Bryan Reyes lead the doxology. It was followed by the performances of the participants. The event ended with closing remarks delivered by Mr. Cabrito and followed by community singing of “Power of Your Love.”
