Far Eastern University (FEU) and DZRV 846 Radyo Veritas’ collaborative radio program FEU Campus Hour Season 11 is set to broadcast its final episode tomorrow, January 27.
Organized in a seasonal format which runs monthly with different themes and stories, the program officially launched its return last January 6.
In an interview with FEU Advocate, FEU Campus Hour Executive Producer Aj Lopez shared the efforts that went into reviving the program.
“We set a standard that will never be forgotten, including our own original soundtrack (OST), four stories per episode every Saturday of January, prepared guests, segments, host preparations, and overall execution,” Lopez said.
The hiatus in FEU Campus Hour was attributed to the challenges posed by the pandemic, which led Radyo Veritas to halt the show temporarily.
Motivated to continue the legacy and rebrand for the 11th season, the FEU team worked on the revival of the program.
Further, Lopez emphasized the meticulous planning to ensure the team's readiness for the program’s return with the guidance of their adviser, Karen Lee Panela.
“The hard work and teamwork of this team are the reasons why we revived and let the FEU community know that FEU Campus Hour is ready to be seen and heard on Radyo Veritas,” Lopez stated.
With the theme “Tamaraw ang bida,” season 11 underscores the central idea that every story is anchored in the essence of the Tamaraw spirit.
FEU Campus Hour aims to engage listeners and build connections, delivering stories created by FEU students with values that resonate with a broad audience.
This season’s hosts include Nicole Lantin and Piolo Mayuga, accompanied by Segment Host Xyril Soriano.
The program not only highlights the Tamaraw pride but also engages in a competition with universities across Luzon.
According to Lopez, the collaboration with Radyo Veritas 846 provided FEU with a platform to reach people and share stories created by FEU students.
“With this, we engage and create a connection and relationship towards people who love to listen to radio and also to watch a drama series created by students that contains values that many people can relate to,” the Executive Producer shared.
The program airs on several platforms including 846 AM Radio, DZRV 846 Facebook Page, Veritas PH YouTube Channel, Sky Cable Channel 21, and CIGNAL TV Channel 313.
