To bring the Tamaraw community up close to the real life situation in Maguindanao, a four-day photo exhibit entitled ‘Children at the Crossroads: Windows to Healing Mindanao’ has been held at Far Eastern University (FEU) Pavilion from May 17 until 20.
The shots were captured by our renowned photographer Jun de Leon and the stories of An Alcantara just days after the Mamasapano incident in Maguindanao.
It was made possible in partnership with Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ms. Angel C. Palanca of Peace Program Foundation Inc. and FEU Student Development.
Further, ribbon cutting was held last May 17 at 10AM with the opening remarks and an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) led by OPAPP Undersecretary Luisito Montalbo.
Kapayapaan by Tropical Depression was set as the theme song of the event with the use of #IamForPeace to encourage everyone that peace starts with people behind all of the chaos and conflict that humans have experienced.
