Far Eastern University (FEU) Student Elections for Manila and Makati campuses will be held on May 26 and 27, the University Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced on Wednesday.
This year’s student polls will be “fully online” and administered via TAMS GO App, as stated in the Implementing Rules and Regulation of the Omnibus Election Code.
Prior to this, the University settled for an appointment of student leaders in 2021. It was intended to provide enough time in creating the Omnibus Election Code for the new normal setup.
The deadline for filing of Certificate of Candidacy is on April 22, while the filing of Motions for Disqualifications of the candidate is on April 27. Official candidates will be announced on April 29.
This year’s student campaign period will begin on April 30. To give way for Final Exams, campaign activities will be suspended starting May 10 until 14.
Institute Debates will be held May 23-24 and the Grand Debate is set on May 25.
The FEU Student Elections calendar was released through its communication arm ‘TAMang Boto.’
