JPIA hosts 19th Nicanor Reyes Sr. Cup

Far Eastern University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (FEU JPIA) in partnership with SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. hosted the 19th installation of Nicanor Reyes Sr. Cup last March 13 at the FEU Mini Auditorium.

With the theme “Venerating the Pioneer's Heritage for Posterity,” the annual national accounting quiz bowl “reminisce the contribution” of the pioneer of accounting education in the Philippines, FEU Founder Dr. Nicanor Reyes Sr.

"Because the pioneer of accounting education is also the founder of FEU, that's our biggest pride that we brag to other local chapters or other universities or schools around the country," FEU JPIA president James Bryan Vega stated.

University of Caloocan City - Camarin took home the championship title of this year's cup. The first runner-up is awarded to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila, and the second runner-up went to Wesleyan University-Philippines.

The competition was participated by 12 schools around the country, majority came from the region of Central Luzon.
