They say that it is a gift,
but it is an uncontrollable itch.
A curse placed in my flesh
swallowing my existence afresh.
With a mercurial river of thoughts
I feel what is not real,
and hear voices of my fear.
The world is melting,
so I sliced a piece of my skin
and left some colors behind.
Seeking realms beyond imagination.
Seeking hopes in flowers and creation.
I am a canvas of madness and beauty,
a symphony that is neither temporal nor infinite,
a memory carried by the wind-
I am a masterpiece.
