TFX Atlas gears up for CONQuest COD:M tourney

Far Eastern University (FEU) Tams FX (TFX) Atlas started their preparations for the upcoming quarterfinals in the Alliance Games Season 3 Call of Duty Mobile (COD: M) Group Stage which will begin on June 2 in the CONQuest Festival 2023 at the National University - Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
The green-and-gold shooters finally booked their ticket to play for the first time in the CONQuest stage in their win against the Ateneo de Manila University LG Altair in the tourney.
In an online interview with FEU Advocate, Alliance Game Season 3’s best at hardpoint player Mario Padel (TFX Cash) shared the thrill he felt after they secured their spot for playoffs.
“Just the thought of it makes me happy and nervous as this would be a first for TFX. The fact that I was able to contribute to the team has been a privilege for a 1st-year college student like me. Also, CONQuest gives an opportunity for us to not only hone our game skills, rather, it also allows us to represent our school,” he said.
The Morayta-based gunner also mentioned that the team seeks to establish new strategies to claim the gold medal for FEU.
“We were still consistent in terms of the quality of how we practice and play in games. As the tournament's date is nearing, I believe that we should be practicing and preparing more as well as forming strategies that could possibly help us as we play,” he stated.
TFX Atlas is set to compete against the Mapua University MGS Ares on the first day of the CONQuest Festival on June 2 at the same venue.
