Withering Daisy

By Jamilou Joymie N. Ramirez
Blaring music, neon lights, and misty skin
Nothing but man's dirty, deceitful nirvana
As I lay my body on the wrath of the night
With another foreign shadow,
With brand new dirty earnings.
With the shadow's lustful touch, my mind contemplates
For this man's breaths of pleasure is nothing compared
To the torment from my mother's wail in famishment,
And my father's cold tears in his pain.
Yet this is just another night where the daisy painfully withers.
